Terms of Business Agreement

1. Dencover

Dencover is an i-cover Limited product. i-cover Limited is a company registered in England and Wales with Company No. 07060963 and whose registered office is at 131 Edgware Road, London, W2 2AP. i-cover Limited is an appointed representative of Correlation Risk Partners Limited which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA). This can be checked by visiting the FSA website at www.fsa.gov.uk or by contacting the FSA on 0845 606 1234.

2. Condition of Use

Please read these conditions carefully. They will form an important part of any contract between us, the insurance company, and you. By applying on our website for insurance, you agree to be bound by these terms, which by proceeding, you confirm you have read and understood.

3. General

The information on our website is directed only at UK residents. The products and services we sell are only available to UK residents. By completing a request for a quotation you confirm that you are a resident in the UK and you will immediately notify us if you cease to be a resident in the UK. The content of our website and the products and services offered by us comply with appropriate UK legislation and regulation. Unless we have agreed otherwise with you, the Insurance Contract with the insurance company shall be subject to the law of England and Wales and to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

4. Data Protection and Privacy Statement

Dencover will hold and process any personal data you submit in the course of applying for dental or other insurance cover. This data will include information regarding direct debit mandates. We will be acting as data controller under the Data Protection Act 1998 ("DPA") in relation to such personal data and are committed to complying with our legal obligations under the DPA. We will use your personal data for the purposes of arranging the provision of insurance to you, dealing with renewals and to improve our understanding of your interests in our products and services. We will disclose your personal data to the insurance administrator and also to the carefully selected insurance companies that will provide cover to you who will process the data for the purposes of providing your insurance cover. The information we disclose to the insurance administrator and to the insurance companies will include that relating to direct debit mandates and in the event that we decide to change your insurance company in accordance with these terms and conditions, we will transfer this information from the old to the new insurance company, along with other personal data.

We will also use your personal data to contact you, by post, telephone and email about products and services which we believe will be of interest to you and we will pass your information on to our group or associated companies for the same purpose. If you do not wish to receive marketing communications from us and/or other group companies please telephone us on 0845 123 1077 and we will remove your details from our marketing database.

5. Telephone Calls

Dencover may record or monitor telephone calls you make to us for information and training purposes and with the aim of improving the services that we provide to you.

6. Links to other Web Sites

The Dencover web site may contain links to other web sites. Dencover accepts no responsibility or liability for the content of these web sites.

7. Important - accuracy of information (utmost good faith)

The information that you provide to us must be true and correct to the best of your knowledge and belief, as this will form the basis of the contract between the insurance company and you. Failure to disclose all relevant facts could invalidate your policy. In particular you should disclose any facts that would influence an insurance company in the assessment and acceptance of the risk, if you are in any doubt as to whether certain facts are relevant or not, please call Dencover on 0845 123 1077.

8. Renewal of your insurance

Your policy will renew automatically, unless you advise us that you wish to cancel the policy. In the event the premium you need to pay changes we will provide you with notification of any change in the premium. From time to time we may consider it appropriate or in your interests to change the insurance company underwriting our insurance product(s) or to cancel your existing insurance product before the end of its term (if the terms of your insurance allows for cancellation) and transfer your insurance to a new insurance company which we believe offers a broadly similar or better level of insurance cover or benefits and the transfer of which is at no extra cost to you.

If we change the insurance company on your insurance policy we will contact you prior to the end of the term of your insurance and provide you with details of the new insurance company and the terms of the insurance product we are able to offer to you. Write to us if you do not wish to receive this information. You may also ask us not to provide you with this information at any time by telephoning us on 0845 123 1077. You authorise us to provide you with the insurance product we notify you about and/or to cancel your existing insurance and provide you with the replacement insurance product unless you tell us otherwise before the new insurance starts by telephoning us on 0845 123 1077.

When we arrange insurance on your behalf you will provide your payment details to ourselves. These details will be used by us to continue your insurance for each renewal period until you notify us that you wish to cancel.If we do change the insurance company of your insurance policy you authorise us to provide your payment details to the new insurance company. Your payment details will only be used to continue your insurance, with either the existing or new insurance company after you have been told what is happening.

9. Accuracy of information (website content)

We have taken every reasonable step to make sure the information contained in our web site is accurate and up-to-date, and would like to hear your views about site content. However, we can not accept any responsibility for any errors or omissions.

10. Copyright

The word "Dencover" and the Dencover logo are protected by copyright. The copyright for the material contained in our website is owned by us. You may view any part of the Dencover web site, and print a copy of it for your personal use. You may not use, copy or distribute any of the material contained in the Dencover web sites for any other purpose, nor incorporate or distribute it in any other form or publication.

11. Revisions

Dencover may revise these terms of business by updating this document at any time. If you renew your insurance policy with us/the insurance company, or purchase a new product or service, you will be bound by the then current Terms of Business, which may differ from these.

If you proceed, and access the information included in the Dencover web site, we will take it that you have read, understood, and accepted the conditions contained in these pages.

12. Dencover Services

Dencover is contractually obliged to only offer customers an insurance policy from Red Sands Insurance Company (Europe) Limited. Dencover does not provide its customers with advice as to the suitability of the insurance policy for their needs, but is able to provide information on the policy. No fee is payable for our services.

13. Complaints

If you have a complaint, please contact us, in writing at Dencover Customer Services, Direct House, 4 Sidings Court, Doncaster, South Yorkshire, DN4 5NU or by phone on 0845 1231077.

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

14. Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)

We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations.
